Believe it or not, I think I have taken a fancy to making newer and better earrings. If I have a limited count of materials to use, I usually can't think of a better way to employ them – particularly if there isn't enough of them for a full necklace set.

These I've had in mind for a while, now. I love the play of gold on purple on dark rainbow hues. It's just this fantastic combination to me that I cannot get enough of. I just adore it!

The fact that the earrings themselves didn't turn out half bad isn't so hurtful, either!
