Of Raindrops and...

YAAAAAAAAAAAY...!! IT LOADEEEED...!!

God, it was ridiculous last night -- let me tell you!

Prior to getting broadband, it would take about three or four tries to get a picture uploaded onto the site. After broadband, it was fantastic! No waiting!

But for some reason, I just couldn't get this up here last night. I kept getting, "We're sorry, but deviantART is unable to process your file due to...blah, blah, blah..."

Plus, the site was SO FRIGGING SLOW last night. I'm guessing, in hindsight, it was because the bandwidth was getting eaten alive by Jenn being on WOW and Dad being on facebook and me trying to work on dA -- that, and dA's probably been going through upload hell because it's the holidays and everyone is trying to get their stuff posted.

Well, anyway, this is the fading shot of a rainbow I managed to get last night. I was sitting my nephew down with a snack after he came home from school and I happened to look out the window. The rainbow was better defined, then, and a lot brighter than it was by the time I was able to get on my boots, grab the camera, and run out the door onto the back deck. I was able to get it just as it was fading out...

Still...it was a surprise to see a rainbow at the end of what had been a snowy, rainy, chilly day. Hope you enjoy!
